It’s a new year, and as usual I’ve got a few different projects in the works. As you may know, I’m not the best at writing regular updates, but I prefer to just bring you the creme of what’s going on in my life artistically… I’m kind of in the dredges of creating right now, no big results to report…
Right now, I’m auditioning almost every day for Voiceover, and that’s probably my favorite thing going. I’ve booked a couple things lately, a radio spot, and an animated iPad game… My agent is doing a great job getting my voice in front of some big commercial casting folks, and also a teacher/mentor of mine, Marc Graue has gotten me a few great opportunities. I’m also still doing a little acting and modeling work and auditioning… I’ll let you know if it’s something to look out for. In the meantime, just chipping away…
Musically, I’m writing a bunch right now. I’m working on some jazzy holiday songs for next season, as well as a little secret side project TBA. Hopefully I’ll have something new to release by the end of this year!
Long overdue for an update, but here’s the latest… There’s a few places you might’ve been hearing my voice in the past few months. One is on TLC’s Toddler’s & Tiaras where 2 of my songs play during Season 6 Episode 6 titled “Universal Royalty Motown”. You can hear a short clip of “Yes You Will” (from the LIGHT) album, during the montage of the pageant setup, and a few lines from “Why Wouldn’t I?” from The Portrait Collection EP leading up to Chloe’s dance routine.
Other than that, I’ve been getting my feet wet in the VoiceOver world… signed with Idiom Talent Agency – and they’ve got me auditioning for all kinds of stuff from big name brands to overseas cartoons – it’s really fun! So far, you may have heard my voice in ongoing TV & Radio spots for Haynes Furniture. Wish me luck!

Hello, thought it might be time for a posted update. Some of you have been asking lately where things stand with the new songs. Well, I’m excited to tell you that we are pretty much finished, and I am now just waiting for an open day at the studio to adjust the mix of one song (because I’m somewhat of a perfectionist). That means, those of you who contributed to the Kickstarter.com fundraiser will be receiving your early release mp3′s in just a few weeks!
When will they be on iTunes? Probably December-ish depending on how long the packaging & submission process takes (it’s always kind of random once you send in your stuff as to when it will actually appear – usually within a couple of weeks). I can tell you that there are 3 songs, that will be released together and called The Portrait Collection. I have been performing one of them at my shows for the last year, the other two debuted at my Levitt Pavilion show in August. Can’t wait for you to hear… soon!

We’ve completed our 8 show run at First & Hope, and successfully raised $6,000 with a Kickstarter.com campaign! Now what?
It’s time for what I call “creative hibernation mode”. I’ll be writing, recording, rehearsing, and immersing myself in working with some great instructors and collaborators.
Look forward to several new YouTube videos that will be following my summer work and showcasing some new songs. I’ll also be reporting from the Kauai Music Festival in July! Shows will resume in various locations beginning on August 5th at the Levitt Pavillion Summer Concert Series in Pasadena, CA.
It’s graduation season, and I’ll finally be finished at USC Marshall School of Business on May 13th! I’m launching this Kickstarter Crowdfunding campaign to raise money to put me back in the recording studio ASAP! Hello ladies and gentlemen,
A few fun updates as we move into Spring, but first, as some of you know I was lucky enough to visit amazing Tokyo last year around this time, and I also just spent Christmas falling in love with Hawaii. My heart goes out to everyone there affected by the earthquake and tsunami damages, and anyone who lost a loved one.
On the brighter side, I’ll be heading out to fabulous Austin, TX this week to participate in the notorious SXSW Interactive/Film/Music Conference. It’s my 5th year going, and I’m really looking forward to making new friends over BBQ and music! I’m honored to have THIS website nominated as a finalist in the Interactive Awards for “Best Personal Websites”. We’re up against some good company, and excited to have this recognition. The folks at Jeffdoe Design worked closely with me on this site to realize the vision we had for simplicity and glamour. Additionally incredible photography by Smallz & Raskind, styled by Chic Little Devil Style House was also instrumental in realizing the concept I had when I told everyone I needed “an elevator” haha

Hello everyone,
I love a new year… so many possibilities. I’m updating my Notes page with some pictures from my Christmas in Hawaii and yesterday’s stop over at the NAMM show where I performed at the Martin Guitar booth!.
Things to be excited about this year include my little residency with the fabulous First & Hope Supper Club. I’ll be there the LAST THURSDAY of every month, starting this month. I’ll be switching up some songs, and adding new ones! I’m also going to get some good recordings up on YouTube for those of you with the living room seats.
Additionally, stay tuned in 2011 for new music releases, new videos, and more beautiful lovely wonderful things.
